Marquesa Cottage Policies
RESERVATION POLICY
To guarantee your reservation we require a 50% deposit of rent plus tax at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival and is then non-refundable. We accept money orders, personal, corporate, cashier and US Traveler's checks, and credit card payments. We cannot accept personal or corporate checks within the last 45 days. All reservations made within the 45-day cancellation period are non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a minimum of 45 days advance notice to cancel. Cancellations made within 45 days of arrival are non-refundable. There will be no refunds for shortened stays. For Travel Insurance, we suggest you visit www.insuremytrip.com.
FOR FANTASY FEST, CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR'S, HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS
The deposit taken equals the total cost for the cottage rental, plus sales tax, and requires a 60-day cancellation. Cancellations and changes made to arrival and departure dates affect us significantly and should be made at least 60 days in advance.
MINIMUM STAYS
There is a five-night minimum stay requirement. Depending on our availability, shorter stays may be possible. Please inquire at 1.800.869.4631. Prices may be higher during peak periods, such as Christmas, New Years, Fantasy Fest and special events.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES
Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am. We ask that you call the Marquesa Hotel at (305) 292-1919 at least 24 hours before arrival to make check-in arrangements.
SMOKING
There is no smoking allowed anywhere inside the house. Guests may smoke outside by the pool and each second level bedroom has an outdoor balcony. Ashtrays are provided. There will be a deep-cleaning fee charged for smoking in the house.
CHILDREN
Children are welcome.
PETS
No pets of any kind, please.
GROUP FUNCTIONS
Group functions involving more than one cottage should be registered through The Marquesa Hotel. We do not allow any amplified music out of respect to the neighbors located on the adjacent lane.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
In many cases we accept your VISA, American Express or MasterCard in lieu of a cash damage deposit. If we accept your card, we will ask you to sign a credit card voucher with a security deposit of $1,000 at check-in. This will be held on file against any mishap during your stay or excessive cleaning. Settlement will be made within 24 hours of departure.
